Lauri Phyland

Speech Pathologist

Lauri completed her Speech Pathology degree at La Trobe University in 2015.

Lauri is passionate about supporting families in a strengths-based, person-centred and family-centred way, always meeting the person ‘where they are at’ to build upon current skills. Lauri is fascinated by the relationship between behaviour and communication, and the way that social connections contribute towards overall wellbeing.

In her spare time, Lauri regularly practices and teaches yoga, meditation and mindfulness around Geelong, and loves spending time in nature hiking, (**trying to!) surf, mountain bike riding and  camping with her family.

Lauri aims to make her therapy sessions as fun and relaxed as possible for her clients, with an interest in early-childhood development, language development, social skills and mealtime management.
